Looking for Something Egg-citingly Different to do with the Kids this Easter Holiday?
The MAD Museum, based in Stratford upon Avon showcases over 100 pieces of Kinetic Art and Automata.
This Easter spring into a mesmerising world of clever design, mind- blowing creativity, bizarre sounds and exciting lights and colour! For the kids, lots of intriguing buttons which activate entrancing moving machines which whirl, clank and sparkle. For the adults, it is a chance to be astounded by amazing creations and intricate mechanical workings.
Throughout the Easter Holiday (Saturday 23rd March – Friday 12th April 2013), The MAD Museum is holding a Mechanical Easter Egg Hunt! This competition isn’t as simple as it sounds – after all, it is an eccentric museum of moving art. People taking part in this treasure hunt will have to press buttons, turn handles and look in and around all the exhibits in the museum to find the hidden eggs.
There are 12 mechanical eggs to locate in total. Find them all to be entered into the prize draw to win MAD gift shop toys, games and goodies and 1 family ticket to The MAD Museum.
Come rain or shine, this museum offers families and kids of all ages the chance to embrace their inner inventor, see some incredible examples of mechanical art and have a lot of fun along the way!
