Tickets and Prices

Adult £7.80

Extra child with a family ticket £3.50

Tickets will give you entry for for the whole day. As long as you keep your receipt, you can come and go as many times as you like.

There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day. Visitors aged 15yrs & under must be accompanied by an adult.

The museum will be closed

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
Shorter day – Open from 10:30am until 4:00pm.


Wednesday 2nd – Monday 7th January 2018
Open 10:30am – 5:30pm


Please note: Last entry is 45 minutes before closing time. From Tuesday 8th January onwards from 10:30am until 4pm. Our gift shop is great for stocking fillers and Christmas presents, you are welcome to come and browse our gift shop without paying admission.

Last admission is 45 minutes before closing.
*Holidays= Warwickshire School Holidays & UK Bank Holidays.
(Please note, we occasionally extend our opening hours around holiday periods)

Open every day, all year round, except around the Christmas period.

Maintenance Days

Occasionally we need to close our museum and give our machines some TLC. We currently don’t have any maintenance days scheduled. We will always give you at least 2 weeks notice of any changes to the museum’s opening hours. Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you.

Car Parking

The closest car park to MAD is Windsor Street multi-storey car park which is a 2 minute walk to the museum.

Food & Drink

Food and Drink isn’t permitted in the museum but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. Here’s a list.

Nuts & Bolts

On average it takes an hour to go around The MAD Museum but some visitors have stayed all day. Photos & videos are welcome and there are toilets on site.
