Tickets will give you entry for for the whole day. As long as you keep your receipt, you can come and go as many times as you like.

There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day. Visitors aged 15yrs & under must be accompanied by an adult.

Annual Opening Times

Monday to Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm 10:30am – 4:30pm
Saturday, Sunday & Holidays* 10:00am – 5:30pm 10:00am – 5:30pm

Last admission is 45 minutes before closing.
*Holidays= Warwickshire School Holidays & UK Bank Holidays.
(Please note, we occasionally extend our opening hours around holiday periods)

Open every day, all year round, except around the Christmas period.

Maintenance Days

Occasionally we need to close the museum to give our machines some TLC. We will always give you at least 2 weeks notice of any changes. There are no scheduled maintenance days currently planned. From Saturday 20th July until Monday 2nd September (including Bank Holiday Monday on 26th August), The MAD Museum will be open from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm every day. Last entry is at 4:45 pm.

We will be open as normal from Tuesday 3rd September from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.

During busy times we don’t have the capacity for pushchairs in our museum. Therefore, we ask that all pushchairs are left in the museum’s entrance, under the staircase, at street-level. Thank you for understanding.


Car Parking

The closest car park to MAD is Windsor Street multi-storey car park which is a 2 minute walk to the museum.

Food & Drink

Food and Drink isn’t permitted in the museum but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. Here’s a list.

Nuts & Bolts

On average it takes an hour to go around The MAD Museum but some visitors have stayed all day. Photos & videos are welcome and there are toilets on site.

During the Summer Holidays we don’t have the capacity for pushchairs. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience. Find out more
