The MAD Museum was nominated as a finalist for Visitor Attraction of the Year for the second consecutive year at the prestigious Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture Awards 2017.
These awards celebrate the region’s best visitor attractions, restaurants, accommodation and businesses.
This year’s ceremony was held on Thursday 21st September 2017 at Coombe Abbey. It was a fantastic night in which local businesses all came together to gain recognition and to celebrate their contribution toward the area. Several members of the MAD Team attended the evening and had a very enjoyable time.
“The Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture awards are of real significance for our region which boasts a phenomenal amount of world class assets for visitors to the area and locals alike to enjoy.”
Unfortunately, The MAD Museum didn’t win the award for Visitor Attraction of the Year but our very well-deserved friends at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall held the trophy high for Stratford upon Avon.
“I’ve seen how hard the guys at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall work and they are a lovely bunch of people. All their efforts definitely earned them this year’s award and this spotlight on Stratford upon Avon will only help bring more attention to the area on a national level.”
