Coronavirus Guidance

Updated 13th March 2020

The MAD Museum is still open to the public, and school groups, as usual, until further notice. We are open from 10:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am – 5:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

With that said, we are naturally taking steps to mitigate the well documented risk of the coronavirus. All visitors will now have unlimited access to hand sanitiser on arrival at the museum and during their visit.

We are not currently providing gloves to visitors, but we strongly recommend that you bring your own where possible due to the interactive nature of the museum. Most of our exhibits are operated via a button so we would advise that you use protective handwear when touching these buttons to prevent possible transmission of the virus.

We are already engaging in extra cleaning activities at the museum in order to mitigate the risks as much as we possibly can.

We want all of our visitors to enjoy their MAD experience to the fullest, knowing that we are treating your wellbeing as our top priority.

Many thanks,
The MAD Museum team

Pre-booked tickets only required during October School Holidays (22nd – 31st October 2022).
