Last admission is 45mins before closing time. Usually open 7 days a week, except around the Christmas period…

Maintenance Days: The MAD Museum will be closed on Tuesday 1st December and Wednesday 2nd December 2015. We need to give our exhibits some TLC. Sorry if this causes you any  scheduled at the moment.

There are no maintenance days scheduled.
Sometimes we need to close the museum for a day or two to give our machines some TLC. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience. We will always give you 2 weeks notice.



Tickets and Prices

Adult     £6.80
Concession     £5.50
Child (6-12yrs)     £4.50
Child 5yrs and under     Free
Family (2 adults and 2 children)    £19.00

There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day.
All minors under 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult.


Concessionary tickets are available to adults over 60, carers, NHS workers, students and the unemployed (proof may be asked for on entry to the museum).

We have several voucher schemes in operation at the moment. Vouchers can only be used up until the date stated on the voucher. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with another voucher. Unless stated otherwise this included family tickets (£19.00) as our family ticket is already at a discounted rate.
